Korea and Mongolia Department invites you to participate in the International Youth Round table ‘110 Years of Mongolian Independence: Lessons of History and Challenges of Modernity’
The round table is timed to coincide with the 110th anniversary of the Treaty of Kyakhta (1915), which played a key role in Mongolia's history. By securing the autonomy of Outer Mongolia within the Republic of China, this treaty was an important step towards its full independence.
Undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as young scholars engaged in Mongolian studies are invited to participate in the discussion.
You will be welcome at our conference - both as speakers and listeners.
The round table will take place on 10 April 2025 and will be held in a hybrid format.
It will start at 10:00 Moscow time.
The discussion will take place in the Assembly Hall of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 12 Rozhdestvenka St., Moscow (Kuznetsky Most metro station).
The deadline for submission of applications and abstracts is 1 April 2025.
