The regular seminar meeting "Theory and Methodology Issues of History and Socio-Humanitarian Knowledge" took place in the Institute of Oriental Studies (the Russian Academy of Sciences) on February the 2nd at 17:00. The topic of the session was: "The 4th Industrial Revolution and its Impact on Society and Humanitarian Knowledge".

The following people made reports during this seminar session:


1. Yuri Cherny, Ph.D. in Philosophy, the Leading Research Fellow, the Head of the Center of the Informatics Study Issues, the Associate Professor of the Media Education Department at the Institute of Journalism, Communication, and Media Education, Moscow State Pedagogical University, presented a report: "The Fourth Industrial Revolution, Society and Humanitarian Knowledge".

2. Nikolai Bystritsky, the Head of the Integrated Digital Technologies Laboratory of the Institute of Oriental Studies, made a report: "The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Transformation of Humanitarian Knowledge".

The seminar was conducted by Akhmed Magomedov, the co-worker of the Integrated Digital Technologies Laboratory of the Institute of Oriental Studies.
