International Conference “Alisher Navoi. Bringing Nations Together Through the Ages International Conference “Alisher Navoi. Bringing Nations Together Through the Ages"

 
The international scientific and practical conference “Alisher Navoi. Bringing Nations Together Through the Ages'' was held in Moscow on the 30th of March, 2021. The conference was dedicated to the 580th anniversary of Alisher Navoi birth.

Alisher Navoi (1441-1501) was a prominent poet and philosopher. He lived on the territory of the ancient Khorasan. He wrote his lyrics and scientific works in Persian.

The conference was organized by the Institute of Asia and Africa (Lomonosov Moscow State University) and the history department of the National University of Uzbekistan named after M. Ulugbek.

The conference was held online.

The researchers of the Eastern History Department  (the Institute of Oriental Studies) took part in this conference.

Timokhin D.M., the candidate of Historical Sciences, the senior researcher of the Institute of Oriental Studies presented the report "The Essay of Moin ad-din Natanzi as a Source on the Iran History in the Mongol Invasion Era" .

A. Sh. Kadyrbaev, Doctor of History, the  leading researcher, made a report: "Alisher Navoi, as the Personification of the Timurid Era",

Zaitsev I.V., Doctor of Historical Sciences, the leading researcher made a report "Alisher Navoi Manuscripts in Kazan". Yu. A. Averyanov, candidate of historical sciences, senior researcher made a presentation "Features of Hagiographic Narrative in the Sheikhs Lives in the Works of Alisher Navoi and Farid al-Din Attar."
