The Early Scythians and the Ancient East

 
The international scientific conference "The Early Scythians and the Ancient East" was held on the 21st-22nd of April, 2021.

The event was conducted on the 90th anniversary of Maria Pogrebova's birth. Maria Pogrebova was a prominent specialist on scythian culture. The Institute of Oriental Studies (the Russian Academy of Sciences) and the State Museum of the East hosted the conference. The event was held in an intramural format. Some of the speakers spoke remotely via Zoom.
