Сonference “Russia's Foreign Policy in the South"
The Institute of Oriental Studies held a scientific conference “Russia's Foreign Policy in the South. To the 100th Anniversary of the Friendship Treaties of the RSFSR with Afghanistan, Iran, and Turkey”. The event was held on the 22nd of September, 2021.
The conference was organized by the Study Center of the Near and Middle East of the Institute of Oriental Studies (the Russian Academy of Sciences).
Vyacheslav Belokrenitsky, the Head of the Study Center of the Near and Middle East opened and chaired the conference. Vitaly Naumkin, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academic Supervisor of the Institute of Oriental Studies, made an introductory speech.
