Delegation from Financial and Economic University (Ulan Bator, Mongolia) Visited the Institute
A delegation from the Financial and Economic University (Ulan Bator, Mongolia) visited the Institute of Oriental Studies on the 26th of October, 2021.
A cooperation agreement was signed as a result of friendly constructive negotiations between the FEU and the Institute of Oriental Studies (the Russian Academy of Sciences).
As part of the celebrations associated with the 100th anniversary of the diplomatic relations establishment between Russia and Mongolia, a delegation of the Financial and Economic University (Ulan Bator, Mongolia) visited the Institute of Oriental Studies on the 26th of October 2021. The delegation consisted of prof. Byambadash Munhbayar, the Rector, Vice-Rector for Science, prof. Jamyandorzh Batkhuyag and Irina Imideeva, the Head of the Department for Eurasian Cooperation, Association.
From the Institute of Oriental Studies the following people took part in the negotiations: A.Alikberov, the Director of the Institute, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Ph.D. Yu. Drobyshev, senior researcher of the History of the East Department, as well as A. Zheleznyakov, Doctor of Political Sciences, Chief Researcher, Head of the Center for Political Sciences and Political Sociology of the Institute of Sociology (the Russian Academy of Sciences).
B. Munkhbayar, Rector of FEU, emphasized the meeting’s high importance and joint cooperation prospects of Mongolian and Russian Academies of Sciences.
The meeting took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere. Prospects for cooperation between our organizations in joint research areas and participation in joint projects were discussed. A.Alibekov stressed the high importance of Mongolian culture and history in Russian science.
The meeting participants also discussed the opening of the Mongolian Writing and History Department in the Institute of Oriental Studies.
As a result of the negotiations, a cooperation agreement was signed between the FEU and the Institute of Oriental Studies (the Russian Academy of Sciences).
