Conference "Instability of the Geostrategic Space in the Near, Middle and Far East: Current Issues"
On the 15th of June, 2022, the annual conference "Instability of Geostrategic Space in the Near, Middle and Far East" was held at the Institute of Oriental Studies. The conference was organized by the Center for Research on General Issues of the Modern East (the Institute of Oriental Studies).
At the conference the following issues were discussed: the development of political and economic relations in the region of the Near, Middle and Far East during the period of geopolitical situation altering in the world, the economic, social, and political processes of the Middle Eastern countries, the modern politics of Japan, the situation on the Korean Peninsula after the elections, the peculiarities of Turkey's foreign policy, the impact of the 2020-2022 crises on the entire Asian region, and several other topical issues were analyzed.
An active discussion was caused by the topic on the cyberspace impact on the geostrategic instability of human capital in the East.
