V. Grayvoronsky, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Was Highly Awarded
From the 29th of June to the 3rd of July, 2022, Ulan-Ude hosted anniversary celebrations dedicated to the centenary of the Institute of Mongolian Studies, Buddhology, and Tibetology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Within the conference framework a solemn meeting was held dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Institute of Mongolian Studies, Buddhology, and Tibetology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
During this solemn meeting Vladimir Graivoronsky, Doctor of Historical Sciences, the Head of Mongolia Sector of Mongolia and Korea Department of the Institute of Oriental Studies was honored.
By the decision of the Academic Council of the Institute of Mongolian Studies, Buddhology, and Tibetology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences V.Graivoronsky was awarded the title of Honorary Doctor of the Institute Institute of Mongolian Studies, Buddhology, and Tibetology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Then he was also awarded a medal of Bazar Baradiyn, the first director of the Buryat-Mongolian Scientific Committee.
Thus, a high assessment was expressed by colleagues from the the Institute of Mongolian Studies, Buddhology, and Tibetology of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences to Mr. Graivoronsky, a brilliant scientist, a specialist on Mongolian culture, whose works are well-known and recognized in Russia and abroad.
