International Seminar "Opportunities and Prospects for Russian-Armenian Cooperation on Post-Conflict Reconstruction of Syria"

 
The international seminar "Opportunities and Prospects for Russian-Armenian Cooperation on Post-Conflict Reconstruction of Syria" was held on the 14th of October 2022.

The academic event was organized by the following organizations:

• Center for Arab and Islamic Studies of the Institute of Oriental Studies (the Russian Academy of Sciences) 
• The Arabic Studies Department of the Oriental Studies Faculty of Yerevan State University
• The Institute of Oriental Studies (the National Academy of Sciences) of the Republic of Armenia

The conditions and possible directions of Russian-Armenian cooperation in Syria were discussed within the seminar framework. Then, the issues of providing joint assistance for SAR restoration were talked over in particular, as well as organizing a dialogue at the academic and expert institutions level to discuss key cooperation issues between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia in the Syrian Arab Republic.
