Born in Moscow in 1955 In 1977 graduated from the economic faculty of the Moscow state University with honors. In 1980 she graduated from the Institute of Oriental studies of the USSR Academy of Sciences (RAS), in 1981 she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of economic Sciences. She worked at the Institute of Oriental studies as a Junior and later senior and leading researcher. In 1999 defended the dissertation on competition of a scientific degree of the doctor of economic Sciences. Are Professor of the Institute of countries of Asia and Africa of Moscow state University and MGIMO (University) of the MFA of the Russian Federation.
