Center for Contemporary China Studies
The Center consists of three sectors – the political research sector, the socio-economic research sector and the foreign policy research sector.
The main directions of the political research sector are the study of the internal policy of the PRC leadership, political organizations, the activities of the Communist Party of China, the highest state authorities, legislative and executive authorities, public organizations and the basic concepts of the country's development until the end of the 21st century.
The main directions of the socio-economic research sector are economics and the economic policy of the PRC leadership, the development of Chinese economic sectors, foreign economic relations and development programs – the Belt and Road, the Comprehensive Regional Economic Partnership (REP), the military–industrial complex, socio-demographic development, the role of the Chinese diaspora in the development of the Chinese economy, the environmental problem.
The main directions of the foreign policy sector are the development of Russian–Chinese relations, the main foreign policy concepts of the PRC on the world stage, China's activities in international organizations, Sino-American relations, China in the Asia-Pacific region, China and the European Union, China and Central Asian countries, China in Southeast and South Asia, China's relations with developing countries in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
